MDS MÖHRLE is a member of the worldwide network of RSM International firms. All the member firms of this global network, which was established in 1964, are independent legal entities that are owned by their own group of local shareholders or partners and have their own local management.

MDS MÖHRLE and RSM International collaborate through RSM Deutschland GmbH, which was formed in April 2010. We were the founding member of RSM Deutschland GmbH. Besides MDS MÖHRLE, ten further firms have acquired shares in RSM Deutschland GmbH as German RSM members. RSM Deutschland GmbH was recognised as an audit firm in June 2010 and uses RSM Germany as a brand name.

RSM Deutschland GmbH is a shareholder in RSM International Limited, a company registered in the UK. This company provides central services to international RSM members and develops joint risk and quality standards, which are implemented uniformly by the member firms. In addition, RSM Deutschland GmbH is a member of the RSM International Association, an entity organised under Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It constitutes the umbrella organisation of RSM International. Representatives of the member countries sit on the International Board of RSM International and participate in the decision-making processes.

The establishment of RSM Deutschland has created an association of 11 independent firms with some 1,100 employees and fee income about € 112 million. RSM Deutschland is the eighth largest tax consulting and audit firm in Germany by fee income.

Globally, RSM International is the sixth largest audit and tax advisory firm by fee income. RSM International is represented in 75 countries. With over 32,000 employees, it generates fee income in excess of 3.8 billion US dollars.

Members of RSM undertake, among other things, to maintain uniform high quality standards in performing audits and to apply the uniform worldwide “RSM Audit” methodology.
